We have peered into the past and would like to share with you the unexpectedly beautiful, joyful, but also harrowing stories in song that we have found there and given new life to. They are at one at the same time secular as well as sacred, holy as well as human and, as befits a powerful music tradition, they succeed in merging our everyday life with the eternal again and again.
